Claremont Lincoln
Non-Denominational University

Project
Highlights

This 36,000 s.f., adaptive reuse, graduate university project was recently completed and features a two-story canopy projecting from the central portion of the northern façade highlighted by three accent fins extending the full vertical height of the building. To accommodate gatherings, a plaza-like area was created in front of the building, under and around the two-story canopy and a two-story mosaic of storefront glazing opening up the building to the main pedestrian access. We created a new, rectangular, pavilion-like form at the northwest corner of the building with opportunities for public art on its north-and-west facing sides. The building is shaded with an aluminum solar system for second- and third-story windows and trellis covering for the rooftop patio.
